Most of ours arrive flat-packed in a few boxes rather than as one built unit, so you're carrying panels up the stairs, not a finished wardrobe. Still worth checking the box dimensions against your doorways and any tight turns, especially for the bigger 5 and 6 door sets. If you're not sure, send us your door and hallway measurements and we'll tell you straight whether it'll go through.
Yes, ours come flat-packed with the hardware pre-fitted where possible and clear step-by-step instructions in the box. Most people manage the smaller wardrobes solo in an afternoon. The larger multi-door units go faster with two people, mainly for holding panels steady while you screw them together rather than any real skill involved. You won't need anything beyond a screwdriver, though a power drill helps.
Measure the wall space you've got first, then leave a bit of breathing room either side. A wardrobe pushed right up against a radiator or window frame never looks right. As a rough guide, 2 door units suit a single room or a smaller bedroom, while 4 door and up make more sense if you're sharing space or want built-in drawers. Full dimensions are on each product page, so measure twice before you order.
It depends on the piece, and we spell that out on each product page rather than leave it vague. Where we say solid wood, that's what's in the frame. Some parts, like drawer backs or mirror surrounds, use engineered board because it holds its shape better there. If the material matters to you, check the description before you buy. We'd rather you knew upfront than be disappointed when it turns up.
Free if your order's over £400, otherwise it's a flat £30 anywhere in the UK, so there's no postcode surprise at checkout. Most orders arrive in 5 to 7 working days from when we confirm it, sometimes a little longer for the Scottish Highlands or Northern Ireland. You'll get an email the moment it's dispatched, so you know it's on its way.
You've got 30 days from delivery to send it back, no story required. That's well beyond the legal minimum, because we'd rather you were sure than stuck with something that doesn't work for your room.
